I am taking Dr. Barbas now for OCHEM 2 summer. Point blank, this class is extremely difficult, but Dr. Barbas is a great professor. You will never make less than a 40 on the test and he curves each test individually. I had a friend who made a 50 something on the test and Dr. Barbas curved him right up to a 70. Overall, study hard and you should do just fine.

_Donna Gosnell CHEM1152K posted on: 12/14/2009
Dr. Gosnell is a wonderful Chem 1152 teacher. She does powerpoint notes and puts everything online. Quiz and test questions come straight from her notes. Also they are not multiple choice questions (except for the final & there was no midterm) so as long as you study the notes you will do fine. She also gives bonus points. She is very fair on her grading and gives partial credit if you don't get something quite right. However, because the final is cumulative and is all multiple choice, there is no partial credit there. With just a little time and effort into studying her notes you can pull an A in this class. Plus she is funny and keeps things interesting! She even tried giving away her new kittens in class! :D
