i'm not a fan of science...of any kind. he's a cool guy. knows his stuff. tries to make things interesting. he does put all notes on blazenet. study the notes. he does give a quiz every friday (to get people to come to class b/c he doesnt take roll otherwise). he does grade on a curve. he gave us a 30 point curve on one test. he also drops 2 quizzes and 2 lab grades. i didnt do much of anything in his class and came out with a B. i failed all tests (before the curve was given), but i did attend all labs (that gives you an EASY A average, which i believe he counts that as a test grade too). he'll also help you if you need it. he's a good professor to take if you can tolerate science.

I would not recommend taking this class just to fulfill the Area D lab science requirement. ONLY TAKE IT IF YOU NEED IT!!! The lecture part of class is not so bad if you go to class and take notes. However, the lab part of the class is extremely confusing and Dr. Grable always speeds through it. To make matters worst, she gives exams over the material covered in lab so it's best to attend because it hard to catch up once you get behind. I passed with a decent grade, but I still struggled through the whole class. I hear it's better to take this class without the lab.

Dr. Grable is an extremly nice women. She is super smart and knows what she is talking about. She laughs at her own jokes, but just laugh with her. Her tests are straightforward and she gives a study guide. Although the information is boring, she tries to make it as interesting as possible.
