Great teacher! you just have to do a lot of reading but its on an interesting subject. no major tests, just quizzes over the reading and essays for midterm and final. i would definitely recommend stoltzfus.

Wow, this woman is crazy. And very boring. I signed up to learn about the New Testament, but the only thing I learned was what I read out of the textbook on my own time. Her lectures taught me nothing. I've never taken another religion class, so maybe they're all this way...but I do know that I would not recommend this class

Amesbury lectures over each chapter and then you take a test, which is done on WebCT at your convenience on the assigned day. We don't have class on test day, but he does take roll everyday that we have class. Our class is at 8a.m. and that is when he takes roll. You are required to post and reply to discussion ?'s over each chapter on WebCT. The tests are open book and open note, M/C & T/F, but you do have to read. He doesn't try to persuade you to believe any certain religion, even after taking his class I could not tell you what if any religion he is. I'm not sure I would take him again but it hasn't been a bad experience, just not really my style, kinda monotone.
